The Role:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Project Policies, Procedures and Systems

•-Implement project related policies, processes, procedures and systems to ensure contractors incorporate the same into their bid documents.

Greenfield and Brownfield
Conceptual Engineering and Development Options

•-Understand and develop the concept of the field development with the exploration team in order to formulate the options and cost estimates for projects.

Budget and Plans

•-Implement the budget and monitor the financial performance of a given area of the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly.

Front End Engineering Design (FEED)

•-Review FEED studies conducted by third party service providers e.g. engineering blueprints, standards, procurement specifications, philosophies, etc in order to prepare or assemble the procurement and construction bid package in coordination with Procurement and Legal departments.

Invitation to Bid

•-Float the Request for Proposals (RFP) to contractors in order to invite quotations and bid.

Execute an EPC Bid

•-Develop a Project Execution Plan for Scopes of Works (SOW), Work Breakdown Plan, Time, Schedule, Communications Plan and Document Control system, etc in order to execute the EPC bid.

Execute the EPC Project

•-Monitor the progress of the Project in terms of scope, costs, time schedule and recommend corrective action where required.

EPC Project Handover

•-Review the pre commissioning dossier to ensure there are no problems and all issues in the new system are addressed prior to handover
•-Review the handover document before handling over to Production to ensure all the Project objectives and parameters have been met.

Reports

•-Monitor the contractor progress reports to ensure they are on target in terms of cost and time schedules.
•-Prepare contractor progress reports in order to keep informed and to facilitate planning of cost and time schedules timely and accurately to meet company and
department requirements, policies and standards.

Warranty Claims

•-Claim warranty from vendors in case of equipment/instrument failure in line with the terms of the contract

Health, Safety, & Environment

•-Monitor the progress of the Project in terms of scope, costs, time schedule and recommend corrective action where required


KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge

•-A degree in Engineering, preferably with a PMP professional qualification.
•-A good understanding of the Oil and Gas industry

Experience

•-5-9 years of project experience in Oil & Gas sector.

Skills

•-General and project management skills, technical skills, good communication skills, analytical skills, good interpersonal skills.
