The Role:
An opportunity has arisen in the North Sea Turnaround (TAR) Function for Mechanical SPAs. Reporting directly to the TAR Lead the SPA will work with the TAR Engineering and Construction Managers and be responsible for the preparation and execution of a defined TAR activity set. The role is accountable for scope project management, achieving all relevant milestones and deliverables, to ensure safe and predictable outcome for TAR . The individual will ensure their scope meets the required standards, MOC documentation has been raised where appropriate and the scope is closed out post TAR. A key
requirement will be working with the engineering contractor providing assurance on scope definition and preparation. Ability to interface with the offshore operations team is also essential to ensure efficient project execution.

Key Accountabilities
Ensure that the TAR work-scope is clearly defined through a Statement of Requirement and deliverables achieved in compliance with TAR milestones.
Communicate with the TAR Team and offshore personnel to ensure implementation scope is clear and understood.
Conducts offshore constructability review to ensure work is engineered to support safe and efficient TAR execution.
Produce a work-pack, (including certification), for each TAR activity, ensure high quality engineering has been carried out (managing surveys as required).
Identify services requirements and ensure detail in work-pack.
Agree engineering and construction assurance activities are completed e.g. Design review / HAZOP / HAZID, certification.
Liaise with the TAR Construction Leader to populate detailed requirements on the Construction Readiness Tracker e.g. permits, LOLERS etc.
Ensures modifications are in alignment with BP standards and have followed the MoC process, including HAZID/HAZOP, Risk Assessment, etc.
Assess risk to delivery for all scopes and fully prepare appropriate contingencies in support of delivering predictable TAR outcome.
Communicates schedule risk to the TAR Team.
Act as point of contact with any specialist vendors required for modification scope.
Develop execution man-hour estimates, identify all resource requirements, (including 3rd parties), and ensure these are fed into the TAR planning process.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of all TAR materials.
Ensure pre TAR scope is planned and executed sufficiently ahead of the TAR window.
Ensure full close-out of the work-scopes, including Punch-lists, Work Orders, Document Control, MoCs, etc.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Candidate will ideally have a Mechanical discipline background.
Candidate will have TAR, maintenance or Project execution experience.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to communicate at all levels, with particular reference to written documents.
Demonstrable safety leadership behaviours.
