Our client is a leader in the Energy industry. They are an electricity and gas company that connects consumers to energy sources through its networks. As a result of a successful project award they are currently looking to recruit a Project Engineer for a major FEED study on a flagship CCS project in the UK. The Role:
The Project:
The Project is a major front end engineering and design (FEED) study covering the engineering, design and cost estimation for an infrastructure development in the UK incorporating onshore and offshore high pressure pipelines, onshore and offshore plant and facilities, offshore structures and rotary drilled wells and completions.

The Role:
The Project Engineer (Pipelines) will be part of the Project Engineering Team reporting to the Project EPC Package Manager (Pipelines). The Project Engineer (Pipelines) will be based at the Warwick Project Office. This is a full time role.

The role will be suited to a Project Engineer with experience of: -
• Oil and/or Gas Onshore transportation pipelines.
• Oil and/or Gas Offshore pipelines.
• Oil and/or Gas project engineering work within a FEED phase of a project.
• Oil and/or Gas EPC RFP Tender preparation and evaluation.

The responsibilities and duties of the Project Engineer will include: -
• Support the EPC Package Manager (Pipelines).
• Support the preparation of EPC Tender Package (Pipelines) documentation including Scopes of Work.
• Review Technical and Tender documentation produced by 3rd parties.
• Support the compilation of EPC Tender documentation.
• Respond to EPC Tender Clarifications.
• Support EPC Tender Technical and Commercial Tender Evaluations.
• Support EPC Tender Commercial and Contractual negotiations.
• Attend regular progress meetings.
• Attend technical review sessions.
• Produce and manage minutes of technical review and progress meetings.

In addition it would be beneficial if the Project Engineer had experience in:
• Transportation pipelines of liquid (dense phase) carbon dioxide.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
It is expected that the successful candidate will have considerable and relevant experience in the role of Project Engineering for Transportation systems and facilities within the Onshore and Offshore Oil and/or Gas industries.

Candidates should hold recognised engineering qualifications relevant to the position.

Experience of the FEED stage of projects.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Candidates with membership of relevant professional / industry bodies are preferred

It would be beneficial if the Project Engineer had experience in the Transportation and storage of liquid (dense phase) carbon dioxide or previous experience of Transportation systems and facilities containing high pressure carbon dioxide and/or carbon capture and storage systems would be advantageous.
