The Role:
Our client is looking for a number of Project Engineers to work on their Northern Operations, based in Brisbane. They are focussing our efforts on project engineers who have demonstrated experience in LNG Upstream Projects

Primary objectives of Project Engineers include, but are not limited to:
• Assisting in the co-ordination and management of design, procurement, construction and commissioning of assigned projects
• Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.
• Act as primary technical co-ordination interface with client to ensure that the client’s expectations are satisfied.
• Ensure the project conforms to the client’s approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements
• Managing the planning of all scope activities of assigned projects, and developing the resource and financial requirements from the project plan
• Monitoring and controlling all cost aspects of assigned projects to forecast costs, obtain approvals, identify trends and take action to avoid cost overruns and take advantage of opportunities

Essential Experience:
• Project engineering experience in hydrocarbons (oil & gas), or mining (particularly coal)
• Degree, or equivalent, qualification recognised by Engineers Australia
• Can demonstrate 3 – 7 years of office based and onsite LNG exposure
• Proven background with detailed design, ideally in brownfield projects
