The Role:
Only candidates who already have the rights to work in Azerbaijan will be considered for this role



• Promote project HSE objectives.
• Provide direction and leadership to the Contractor works scope in all related works in the Brownfield area.
• Monitoring and Control of cost and schedule for Brownfield scope.
• Liaise with operations team on all interface matters relating to Brownfield scope in the existing terminal area
• Responsible for ensuring all eMOCs for Brownfield scope are approved in good time to allow construction works to commence.
• Responsible for ensuring all eMOCs for Brownfield scope are closed out in good time to allow construction works to commence.
• Responsible for forward planning of workscope 12 weeks ahead to ensure all 12 week gate criteria are met,
• Lead the Brownfield team lessons learned process
• Responsible for forward planning of workscope out with the 12 week window to ensure all 12 week gate criteria are met,
• Participate in the Brownfield Risk Management Process
• Expediting site query response from engineering contractor
• Providing assistance to the terminal construction contractor for resolution of issues, etc.
• Monitor contractor performance and highlight any concerns to line manager.
• Attending project meetings as required.
• Encourage development of Azeri National personnel
• Provide advice, coaching and training to Azeri National personnel as necessary
• Mentor and assist in training of junior staff as required
• Compilation of reports as required.


: BASIC SKILLS
• Understanding of current safety legislation (BS / EN / OSHA).
• Keen awareness of management of behavioural based site safety programmes
• Understanding of Piping, Civil, Structural, Electrical, ICSS (Integrated Control and Safety System) and Telecoms disciplines, particularly in the onshore Oil and Gas related fields.
• Understand how to read relevant engineering drawings, specifications, codes, SLDs
• Ability to understand logic linked schedules (P3 / P6 or similar).
• Ability to communicate effectively with contractor’s/line managers/ and supervision in English language (oral and written).
• Knowledge and understanding of client management operating systems
• Good IT skills, (understanding of MS office, etc

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
HNC / HND or equivalent in engineering discipline
Registered Incorporated Engineer

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering Degree
Registered chartered engineer
