The Role:
Part of the Launch team for L538 and 11my L359 the position requires resolution of launch issues by the individual where appropriate and communication of the issues back to engineering at Gaydon and Whitley where resolution is not immediately accessible. The engineer will be based at Gaydon for 4 weeks initially, then Browns lane to support the build full time , transitioning to Halewood after the VP build in August

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Good overall Powertrain system knowledge.
Computer literate in Google, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project.
Valid UK driving licence
Ability to interface directly to the vehicle programme teams and represent the Powertrain Department
Flexible, adaptable and excellent communicator
Powertrain system design / development or programme management. Launch experience
It is anticipated that applicants will be educated to a degree level in an engineering or automotive discipline. However candidates with significant Powertrain experience will also be considered

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Working knowledge of JLR project delivery & change management processes including GPDS, AIMS, WERS and eFDVS.
Knowledge of relevant quality tools ie FMEA, 8D etc
JLR specific process knowledge ideally gained in Product Development environment. Knowledge of the Solihull site
