The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The role will be responsible for the delivery of a scrap conveyor system within Halewood Press Shop. This will include management of the main supplier and other trades through engineering design, installation, commissioning and handover. Close liason with Production and Maintenance operations is key to ensure seamless installation and a fit for purpose facility.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Self motivated, confident team player. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in fast moving/chaning environment. Manage design, development and installation of Press Shop facility solutions. Must have the ability to work closely with Plant Teams to find appropriate and robust solutions. Preparation of costs, busgets and timings. Co-ordinate any supporting functions, such as Plant Engineering with respect to the provision of; Lighting, Mech/Elec service, Heating and Ventilation, Extraction and Civil works. Management of Health and Safety, including CDM control and implementation for safet delivery of installation works. Manage meetings, design reviews, buy offs and handover to customer. Interface between supplier and customer. Understanding of production environment.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Use of AutoCAD 2009 for creation of layout, arrangement and detail drawings. Understanding of Press Shop processes and equipment. Working knowledge of FMEA process.
Working knowledge of conveyor equipment. Experince of JLR AME processes and procedures
A-level / appropriate engineering degree
