Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
The role will ne responsible for the delivery of scrap conveyors system within Halewood Press Shop. This will include management of the main supplier and other trades through engineering design. instellation commissioning and handover. Close liason with Production and Maintenence operations is key to ensure seemless installation and a fit for purpose facility.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Self motivated cinfident team player.
Good communication skills both verbal and wrirtten.
Ability to workin fastmoving/changing environment.
Understanding of production environment.
Manage, design,development and installation of press shop facility solutions.
Must have the ability to work closely wirg plant teams to find appropriate and robust solutions.
Preperation of costs , budgets and timings.
Co ordinate any supporting functions, such as plantengineering with respect to the provision of lighting,Mech/Elec service,heating and Ventillation, Extraction and ciCivil works.
Management of Health and Safety, including CDM control and implementation for safe delivery of installation works.#Mnage mmeetings , design reviews, buy offs and handover to customer.Interface between supplier and customer.
Machinery installation , contractor management , time and cost management.
Aworking knowledge of current H&S legislation, particularly CDM regs.
An understanding of calls/machine
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Use of AutoCAD 2009 for creation of layout. arrangement and detail drawings. Understanding of Press Shop processes and equipment, working knowledge of FMEA process
Working knowledge of conveyor equipment Experience of AME processes and procedures
A LEVEL / appropriate engineering degree.
