The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Program Quality Engineer

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Failure Mode Avoidance tools and techniques. Program Management. Involvement in creation of Engineering Standards and Design Rules. Project manage component design failure modes. Evidence of root cause analysis and robust implemention.
Degree in a technical subject.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to work with cross functional teams under minumum surpervision. Able to coach and lead / influence the teams. Excellent written and verbal communication Knowledge of product development design milestones, from virtual series to launch.
DFMEA/ 6 Sigma training.
The expectation of the role is that the candidate has a good working knowledge of the tools listed above and also has had the opportunity to experience the launch of a new product. Therefore a minimum 5 years in a Project Engineer role is required. Non-automotive experience also suitable.
