The Company:
A global Oil & Gas operator with extensive operations in the Caspian Region.

The Role:
Our client is currently seeking a Project Engineer to be responsible for all engineering requirements of the marine base (i.e. load outs, Company Provided Items storage, transpooling, mobilization, transportation, in country delivery, etc) and assistance with integration across the project Marine and Subsea execution scope

This opportunity would be working 6 days a week on a rotation of 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off. Estimated duration is around 3 years.

The position requires interfacing across the teams and external parties for various offshore engineering requirements. The Project Engineer will assist with the operational reviews of subsea construction vessel and project subsea installation scope. He/She will also define all engineering requirements for overall Survey Works for the Project.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for ensuring the installation contractor delivers a competent engineering to successfully execute the work
• Responsible for managing contractor project engineering and scope delivery
• Manage the plan and facilities for in-country mobilisation
• Assist with the management of the integration of the project execution scope including pipelay, diving, T&I and subsea fabrication
• Write Scope of Works for Marine Base operations and all common services of the project
• Provide engineering input to the survey services
• Provide engineering review and approvals to the upgrades to the Marine Base and assure it will meet all the project needs
• Assist with all the Marine Base activity including testing, SIT operations and vendor personnel
• Provide support to the delivery PMs for vessel mobilisation
• Assist with the interfaces between the subsea fabrication and the offshore execution teams
• Assist the interfaces with subsea products vendors (Xmas Trees, Umbilicals, Flexibles, DEH, etc)
• Interface with Subsea Construction Vessel Built group to assist in defining the operational requirements for installation of subsea architecture
• Assist the Project Engineering Lead in the execution of the project delivery

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Offshore Engineering degree (Bachelor of Science)
• A minimum of 8 years experience of engineering management involving subsea architecture
• Proven capability of building and leading successful teams
• Experience with design safety of offshore installations
