The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
The Project Engineer (Misc Supports) will be responsible for the following:
• Actively promote Incident and Injury Free (IIF) program and Environment policies
• Conduct all work related activities in such a manner that the health and safety of all persons on the work site is his or her prime concern.
• Report all incidents, hazards and accidents as and when required.
• Produce and issue site instructions to fabricator, update and manage site instruction register
• Execute and manage ‘Fabrication Requests’ from site construction, commissioning, MEIC Project Engineers etc.
• Participate as required in Project meetings with the MEIC Contractor and Fabricators.
• Support the MEIC Project Engineers in the day-to-day execution of required Fabrication (e.g. review and resolve any issues relating to data, documents and technical aspects)
• Review and respond to technical queries from the Fabricators
• Utilise the project matrix organisation for functional group support and coordination between influential parties (e.g. engineering, contracts, logistics, planning, environmental, document control, third party vendors).
• Demonstrated knowledge of Mechanical & Piping in a plant environment during engineering, construction, commissioning phases leading to operational readiness.
• Proven ability to identify gaps and holes (risks and interfaces) and be able to close and resolve them before they become issues.
• Experienced in site/field construction and pre-commissioning aspects of execution.
• Able to identify (potential) commercial implications from technical queries.
• Managing key interfaces and driving delivery to allow work scopes to be developed to execution ready status across the following teams: Procurement, Quality, Vendor Package Engineers, IPMS, Fabrication Yard Management, Area Project Management, Barrow Island Construction Management, Last Planner, Project Controls, Contract Management and ultimately the MEI & PIF Installation Contractors.

Personal Attributes; Good communication skills, team player, proactive/self-motivated, good decision making skills, willing to travel to Site and Fabrication Yards upon request

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education; Higher Tertiary Education and/or Engineering Certificate/Diploma
Experience; 10-15 years industry experience
Preferred Skills; PDMS & Navisworks, Microsoft Excel and Word, Understanding of Document Management Systems and Material Management Systems. Strong understanding of piping and structural disciplines, particularly piping material standards and specifications.
