The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
The focus of this role is to manage and prioritize multiple work scopes, and act as the focal point to third party contractors coordinating communications between technical staff and maintaining projects within cost and schedule.

The incumbent will coordinate input from various internal and external stakeholders into projects in the Assess. In some cases, the incumbent will be required to make technical contributions to specific studies in case of high priority work to be completed.

Accountabilities
• Delivers multi-discipline projects to designated performance, cost and schedule; delivers fit-for-purpose, timely and cost-effective services to Noise Programme
• Manage projects through create, assess and select project phases
• Manage external relationship on technical issues with other proponents
• Manage call off contractors / consultants on studies in assess and define
• Expedite contracts/PRs/POs with C&P
• Coordinate vendor visits (e.g. mobile trials, noise monitoring, construction)
• Coordinate of noise programme team by maintaining a schedule and resource plan
• Maintain cost report for noise programme team budget and for contracts
• Coordinate and contribute to project value engineering (peer assists, peer reviews etc.) activities
• Contribute to the development and transfer of best practice corporate guidelines, processes and standards
• Coordinate the resolution of problems within the context of project management, ensuring that all project interface issues, both internally and with third parties, are defined and resolved in a timely and effective manner
• Develop contract documentation: Invitation to Tender technical packages and coordinate evaluation of technical submissions
• Contribute to risk identification and mitigation reviews

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Educated to first degree, or equivalent, in relevant engineering discipline
• Chartered Engineer or other equivalent professional engineer status
• Technical professional with broad exposure to E&P/LNG business, based upon good working knowledge from opportunity evaluations and engineering/project management
• Skilled in the application of the PM functional Assurance Review and other associated functional assurance and business processes
• Experience in development and delivery of 1 or more positions of multi-disciplinary project or complex specialist technical activity including a JV partner
• Substantial experience in delivery in a number of project assignments, including cultural or geographical variation
• Experience with effectively leading a multi-discipline team in medium complexity, small hydrocarbon gas projects or elements of multi-discipline delivery in larger hydrocarbon gas projects

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience with leading negotiations with contractors to deliver technical requirements
•Able to lead negotiations with third parties and give advice on project development matters
• Excellent presentation skills, with ability to adapt style and content of presentation for both technical and non technical audiences
• Ability to challenge others in a constructive manner and negotiate with internal peers and partner representatives to influence decisions or ways of working
• Team player mindset with ability to work in geographically diverse and multi-cultural environments
• A commitment to the highest standards of HSSE, working continuously for improvement both in own activities and in those of the assets, projects or other business activities in which they are involved
• Ability to manage own time and apply relevant time management techniques to ensure timely delivery of multiple work streams
