The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
NVH Engineer - This position is essential to support the SVO NVH team in data measurement and analysis during product development.You will have responsibility for measuring component and vehicle performance against attribute targets set by the program attribute team. Problem solving skills along with a flexible attitude will be essential to cope with the fast paced and wide ranging ambition of the Special Vehicle Operations department, you can expect to be deployed at short notice into problem solving scenarios that will differ week to week. The SVO department work closely with core counterparts to stay abreast of new and emerging NVH technology and processes, it will be a function of this role to maintain networks with the wider NVH team and suggest improved ways of working for the growing SVO NVH team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Use of Practical Problem Solving: Has used or is familiar with 8D, Is/Is Not, 5 Whys and other problem solving tools.
2. Technical Experience: Use of LMS or similar package to record and analyse NVH data. Ability to interpret the data and present to all levels.
3. Flexible and Adaptable: Able to cope with a number of work streams simultaneously, with involvement ranging from detailed technical work to high level program overview.

It is essential that the individual has worked in an attribute delivery role, with a good level of theoretical NVH knowledge. - Comfortable using LMS software or similar, with associated hardware to take acoustic/vibration data - Ability to negotiate with other functions to achieve objectives and resolve issues is essential - High drive, self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision. - Candidates must be committed, flexible and able to work under pressure. - Good interpersonal skills - Both verbal and written co

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Preferably a degree in an Engineering subject or HNC/HND with significant experience. Minimum 2 years experience of working in a similar role within the automotive, or a related, industry, with a demonstrable track record of delivery
