The Company:
Our client is a major global Oil and Gas EPC management company that can cover small Brownfield projects to major Greenfield projects.
They are a growth company who can serve as a Sole Supplier, Joint Venture or Subcontractor. With a proven track record of delivering large scale complex projects they are a progressive and attractive company.

The Role:
We are currently sourcing a Project Engineer to join our clients North West Office on an agency basis.

As part of a long term alliance with a major Oil & Gas client based in Kuwait our client is undertaking major projects to help expand and modernize the client’s Main Gathering Center located in, Kuwait.

The candidate will be a Project Engineer with a proven track record in brownfield onshore oil and gas development projects to help support and grow a UK based project engineering teams that will execute FEED and detailed design projects as part of the overall modernisation project. They also handle most innovative projects involving Concept/ FEED studies, EPC Detailed Design Projects and Process Safety and Risk management as part of the overall project scope of works.

Candidates must be Degree qualified with Oil & Gas experience.

Listed below are the core responsibilities required for this role:

Assist the Project Manager in the operational delivery of the project.
Manage interface information and resolve actions resulting from vendor and contractor interface queries.
Ensure Technical Governance and Assurance procedures are followed and report as appropriate.
Assist with the identification and management of risks and mitigation activity.
Collate and manage contractor and vendor performance and report accordingly.
Deputise for the Project Manager as required.
Review and coordinate changes to technical specifications and requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience working on multi-discipline, multi-party, multi-culture teams (IPMT type teams)
Significant experience as a project discipline engineer or operations
Experience of both Technical and Engineering Management
Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
IT Literate with MS Office suite, interface management programmes, Risk Management software etc.
Articulate and able to communicate and influence at all levels
Demonstrable experience of managing multiple vendor and contractor interfaces
Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering Discipline
