The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Manage Vehicle Line Board process for your carlines, by working with the Business Office manager to set meeting agendas.
Facilitate meetings and issue relevant minutes.
Lead Business Office projects, managing work streams and delivery of opportunities
Work with multiple functions to identify opportunities that generate Vehicle Line or Architecture actions (eg. feature/option offering, accessories, warranty issues, quality improvements, legal landscape)
With the help of the Finance team assist in the development of business cases as required to justify key programme improvement opportunities and ensure activities have a positive impact on vehicle line profitability
Manage Vehicle line KPI's and reporting (Margin continuums, hopper updates, key progress, next steps etc)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1) Be numerate with grasp of Microsoft Office Applications (particularly PowerPoint and Excel).
2) Must be a motivated self-starter who will go the extra mile to complete tasks on time, and use initiative to find solutions.
3) Be comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

Ideally degree qualification in engineering or business related discipline. Be product literate with a passion for our client’s products. Will have worked in a role requiring multi-customer liaison. Have experience of working in Marketing, Product Development, Finance, Purchasing or Manufacturing Have excellent oral, written and analytical skills. Have a determination to get the job done and have sustained attention to detail. Hold a full clean UK licence.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Understanding of product programme financial principles, income statement, how to maximize returns to the business and experience in business case development A good working knowledge of Change Control, Product Definition, and Change Management processes is desirable, and in addition, IT Skills - Google mail , and knowledge of Automotive systems - WERS, ALERTS, AIMS, i3, etc.
An aptitude to learn and apply new systems & processes as required.
