The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Project Engineer for theL560 Programme Management Team. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead elements of the vehicle programme. You will be expected to be a visible leader for the wider Programme Steering Team, planning, co-ordinating, leading and reporting progress using the Project Management process (PCS) and other company processes as required. You will lead specific investigations and problem resolution. You will support the team with detailed product definition and product delivery. You will be given opportunities to deputise for the Project Manager and represent the Programme Team at all levels throughout the company

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Must be good at building relationships and an excellent communicator. Must have good organisation and planning skills. Must be tenacious and follow through to complete delivery. Must be a motivated self starter who will go the extra mile to complete tasks on time, and use initiative to find solutions. IT Skills - competent user of MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint, an aptitude to learn and apply new systems & processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience working as part of a project team or in or supplier management, meeting demanding timescales, maintaining budget control and achieving cost-effective delivery.
Ideally qualified to degree level in either an Engineering discipline, or Business discipline

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
A good working knowledge of Change Control, Product Definition, and Change Management processes is desireable, and in addition, IT Skills - Google mail , and knowledge of Automotive systems - WERS, ALERTS, AIMS, i3, etc Hold a current Driving Licence
