The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The department provides 'Business Office' services to the Vehicle Line Director to ensure that integrated business and product plans exist; and where appropriate drives business initiatives to gain alignment and business improvement.

The Role & Responsibilities:
• Lead VLBR projects - managing work streams to technically and financially assess and deliver margin opportunities
• Drive benchmarking and take rate analysis to generate VLBR actions with all functions. Be a reference for this type of information
• Manage link between technology (commodity systems) cycle plan and vehicle plan and support development of commodity strategy and feature into programmes roll-out
• Integrate cost reduction opportunities into vehicle line plans

• Numerate and MS Office Skills (Excel, Powerpoint)

• Technical proficiency and capability to interrogate engineering and vehicle programme development matters

• Capability to work cross-functionally
• Financial analysis and Business case development
• Understanding of product programme financial principles
• Experience with working in technical/engineering environment and commercial/marketing environment
• Qualified to degree level in either Engineering, Science or Business discipline
