The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Key Responsibilities; Represent the team in progress reviews and prepare weekly status reports. Prepare PDLs, monitor progress and achieve timely approval. Monitor work package delivery, escalate and govern issues etc. Details. Prepare papers / presentations for various management reviews as required. Support the weekly Programme Steering Team meetings and manage the completion of the deliverables for programme milestone approvals. Represent the programme team in Change Management meetings, driving and reporting the status of releases. Support all Change Management processes, tracking actions through the e-tracker system and reporting status as appropriate. To work within a project management framework that enables the functions to deliver on time and to budget.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
3 KEY SKILLS; Must have good organisation and planning skills, and be an excellent communicator. Demonstration of Leadership in conflict resolution. Must be a motivated self starter who will go the extra mile to complete tasks on time, and use initiative to find solutions. A good team player. IT Skills - competent user of MS Office . High Level of Excel skill, PowerPoint, Google mail and an aptitude to learn and apply new systems and processes. Demonstration of Project delivery using a Product Development System is preferred, ( automotive experience not essential but other industries such as construction could apply ) and experience of project and/ or supplier management, meeting demanding timescales. Enthusiasm for role advertised. GCSE Maths & English (Grade C or above) with relevant experience minimum.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Working with teams based at overseas locations - candidate will need to work with teams based outside of the UK ( for example India, China, Brazil ) Qualified to degree level in either an Engineering discipline, or Business discipline.
