The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Key Responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the D8 Architecture Management Team in the planning, alignment and optimization of the D8 Programmes ahead of Gateway.
• Owning and maintaining robust Vehicle Programme plans (VPP's) post and lead Commodity Management to support the timely delivery of D8 objectives. Will involve close liaison with the Programme Manager.
• Lead the Integration of the Global Business expansion initiatives into the D8 VPPs
• Lead the planning of Programme Phases through to Job#1 and re-enforce the forward thinking mind-set within the Programme Team.
• Support the transition to an Integrated Planning and Scheduling system
• ‘Single Source of the Truth’

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of project planning/management principles (critical path analysis, risk management etc.)
2. Good communication, interpersonal skills, self-confidence and a 'passion for the product' are personal qualities needed to succeed in this environment, being self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision
3. Microsoft Office including MSP.

Previous experience within Programmes, Core Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Launch experience are considered desirable, with a good knowledge of Product Development Processes and PCDS
Qualified Degree or equivalent is preferred
