The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
• Work for an international Oil & Gas company on their CSG assets
• FIFO roster to the Surat Basin (21/7 or 19/9 roster)
• Long term contract role for between12 to 24 months

In this role, you will project manage the design, technical aspects, and coordination of engineering works for the high voltage substations.

This includes being responsible for the validity, reliability and engineering solutions, as well as development and coordination of relevant documentation.

You will be responsible for:
• Analysing, diagnosing and using professional judgement with regard to substations
• Coordinating engineering standards and resolving problems by interfacing effectively
• Overseeing the project and reporting on progress
• Liaising with the operations teams to ensure there is an effective transition
• Preparing technical reports for management

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualified in engineering, or equivalent years experience
• Design and commissioning substation experience
• Significant project management experience on complex Oil & Gas projects

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Chartered member of a relevant engineering institution
