The Role:
Part of the Landrover Powertrain Project Management team delivering all Powertrain program actions into production on time having successfully met all performance, durability, attribute and cost targets. Key responsibilities will include: management of team members and functional representatives, facilitation of issue resolution, component & system design releases, cost, weight and assumption management, advising line management of deviations to the plan and driving solutions and corrective actions. The role will require the successful applicant to ensure that all Powertrain elements of the program are delivered on time and with Quality

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Good overall Powertrain system knowledge.
• Computer literate in Google, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project.
• Valid UK driving licence
• Ability to interface directly to the vehicle programme teams and represent the Powertrain Department
• Flexible, adaptable and excellent communicator
• Written / Oral
•Powertrain system design / development or programme management
•It is anticipated that applicants will be educated to a degree level in an engineering or automotive discipline. However candidates with significant Powertrain experience will also be considered

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of JLR project delivery & change management processes including GPDS, AIMS, WERS and eFDVS.
•Knowledge of relevant quality tools ie FMEA, 8D etc
•JLR specific process knowledge ideally gained in Product Development environment
•This contract location will be primarily based at Gaydon with limited travel to Jaguar / Land Rover facilities at Whitley, Browns Lane & Halewood as required. Applicant to be fully independent in terms of transport and have use of mobile phone to aid communication
