The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Project/Programme engineer - Powertrain Cost reduction projects and Total Value Management (TVM).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Self motivated and driven
- Good communication skills and ability to deliver results quickly in a challenging environment
- Must be able to engage individuals at all levels of the business and chair progress meetings with managers to drive projects through to deliver
- Must be able to compile and present high quality reports for management consumption
- Good basic financial acumen, Investment costs, R&D costs, Material cost, rate of return
- Capable in Microsoft tools particularly excel, powerpoint
- Managing the delivery of complex engineering lead projects in a challenging environment, automotive, aerospace or similar

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience in a value management & cost reduction environment (TVM) a benefit
- Experience of supplier management and/or assembly manufacturing experience a benefit
- Degree prefered or OND/HNC
