The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Powertrain Project Leader Key responsibilities will include: - Lead/Support delivery of the programmes from PS to Job#1. This will involve the planning, co-ordination, delivery and reporting of all actions relating to Powertrain components, systems and calibrations using PCS principles in conjunction with other company processes as required. - Support prototype build phases (virtual and physical) to ensure all PT CAD/components are delivered in line with MRD timing - Lead/Support Powertain's input to weekly Programme meetings such as Programme Steering Team, Vehicle Integration Team, Daily Start-up, PACN meetings, Cost Risk & Opportunity meetings etc. - Lead weekly internal meetings such as Powertrain Program Steering Team, AIMs reviews, Module Leader Meetings, Powertrain Technical meetings, Cost Risk & Opportunity meetings etc. This role offers wide exposure across different functions and areas at all levels, within Powertrain, PD and beyond.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Applicants should have a current working level knowledge of Powertrain systems, Product Development processes and GPDS/PCS principles. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the ability to resolve technical and process issues, as well as the capability to interface directly to the vehicle programme teams and represent the Powertrain Department as required Good communication, interpersonal skills, self confidence and a 'passion for the product' are personal qualities needed to succeed in this high pressure environment, being self motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision Applicants need to be qualified to degree level, Computer literate in Google, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project. Experience of programme or project management, to include meeting demanding timescales, and cost effective delivery.
