The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The successful applicant will play a major role in the project management of Powertrain Advanced Engineering activities from strategy through to delivery.
Key activities will include: Project Management of platform projects.
Support definition and delivery of Powertrain Advanced Engineering projects.
Manage programme tracking documentation closely monitoring financial, technical/functional and package status to targets, driving inputs from the module leaders.
Create and present programme plans & status documentation to key meeting forums both within and outside Powertrain.
Support the Project Leader in the resolution of key technical issues
Support the Project Leader to plan and prepare for physical and virtualbuilds
Work closely with key customers e.g. Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing & Service to ensure that PT assumptions are compatible and clearly understood

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Effective management of team members and functional representatives in the planning, co-ordination, delivery and reporting of all actions relating to Powertrain components, systems and calibrations using PCS principles in conjunction with other company processes as required.
Lead the management of programme content, assumptions, resources and financial spend via REDBOOK and the PAS sheet process to ensure PT budget is secured for onward delivery.
Lead the management of Powertrain's program health status and cross departmental activities using key programme metrics (e.g. i3, XPT Tracker)
Lead the management of Powertrain's input to weekly Programme meetings such as Programme Steering Team, Vehicle Integration Team, Daily Start-up, PACN meetings, Cost Risk & Opportunity meetings etc.
Lead the management of weekly internal meetings such as Powertrain Program Steering Team, Project timing meetings, AIMs reviews, Module Leader Meetings, Powertrain Technical meetings, Cost Risk & Opp

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Powertrain or vehicle engineering and project management experience.
Delivery of projects using GPDS/PCS.
