The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
This position is for a Program Management support role within the FEAD (Front End Ancillary Drive) and Sensors & Actuators Team which is part of the Base Engine Department within Powertrain.
The Team has complete responsibility for the design and development of all FEAD components and Powertrain related `On Engine & `Off Engines Sensors, Actuators and Modules and associated mounting brackety from concept design through to volume production.
With the increased workload on the engineering community, this role will involve providing help and support with a variety of Program Management tasks including understanding managing and maintaining Bill of Materials (BOM) sheets, BOM Validation activities, Cost Decks, WERS Releases, AIMS management, PACN management, prototype parts orders and supply including talking to suppliers.
Centrally co-ordinate all program timing plans and build plans, both in the Virtual and Physical worlds.
A role within the FEAD and Sensors & Actuators Team involves working with a wide range of components, significant liaison with all internal areas of our business as well as external suppliers.
This small team is based in Building 17 at Whitely, but provides engineering expertise across all Product Development and Production sites

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Demonstrate a high level of motivation, initiative and resourcefulness in overcoming problems and managing multiple tasks against demanding deadlines.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work within a team with minimum supervision and network effectively across a wide number of departments.
Experience in data processing, manipulation and relevant presentation.
Microsoft Office application experience; notably Project, Access, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
The ability to recognise best practice processes.
Must be able to demonstrate good organisation skills and good time management skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Understanding of engineering and production techniques and processes
