The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Programme management role responsible for scoping and delivery of Engine Special Programmes - Engineered to Order (ETO).

The successful Individual will be responsible for working with P/T and Vehicle ETO teams to scope and define content of Engine ETO projects. Once scoped, the individual will work with purchasing to review and select full service providers (FSP) to deliver the programmes.

Management of the FSP to successfully deliver the project will be the individuals responsibility who will be required to communicate inward to the FSP and outward to client ETO regarding programme status, including gateway deliverables and quality, cost, weight, Function, and timing for the project.

**Must be prepared to travel across UK Midlands sites and within Europe and have access to personal transport.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Highly self motivated with Strong communication skills in the English language. Strong MS Office skills Excel, PowerPoint
Demonstrated Experience within programme management in an automotive sector OEM or supplier.
Experience of Powertrain or Chassis engineering or Vehicle engineering - Design or Development
Formal engineering qualification HNC/D or degree equivalent.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
3D CAD skills or management experience in a CAD environment
Experience of working within a Base Engine engineering/design environment.
Demonstrated experience of negotiating contracts with full service suppliers.
Demonstrated experience working with FSP's to deliver a project.
Experience of Product creation process methodology GPDS/PCS.
Competent in MS Project.
Familiarity with key PD IT systems ( eFDVS, RMDV,GPIRS, WERS, AIMS).
Member of a mechanical engineering based institution or professional body.
