The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The primary function of this role is to co-ordinate and progress of all the Powertrain engineering S, T and P part releases. This will involve:- Working with the engineering team to determine the releases required. Ensure that the Powertrain. Release tracker is up to date. Manage the releases to ensure they are completed in time to meet the program gateways. Remove road blocks to ensure approvals are gained quickly. Support PACN meetings and manage Powertrain actions, removing roadblocks. Maintain lessons learnt process and ensure information fed back to release activity.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have the capability to drive and motivate the team to achieve results and continually implement process improvements. They should be determined to achieve deadlines and be pro-active in anticipating and preventing any build stopping issues. They will also need to ensure that the quality of the release is not compromised by the ability to achieve the timing plan. Full, valid driving licence - essential. Good knowledge of Automotive products. Experience in technical problem identification and resolution. Experience in meeting deadlines. Flexibility and willingness to work at other sites as required.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Good understanding of PCDS. (Product Creation & Delivery System) Experience in using Digi-buck and raising AIMS - desirable Experience of WERS system - desirable. Experience of PACN system/ Process - desirable. Excellent communication and presentation skills Proficient in the use of MS Excel & PowerPoint. Engineering degree preferred but not essential.
