The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Powertrain Launch Engineer, responsible for Build Support, Issue resolution including Field Issues Management and Launch Build support. PSW and parts management.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Excellent understanding of Powertrain systems, including 4x4 applications hardware. Excellent communication skills. Fluent with Microsoft applications, especially Excel pivot table analysis. At least 3years experience in the Powertrain field. Detailed knowledge of Quality systems such as DFMEA, 8D analysis. Experience in previous Powertrain systems design and validation from concept throughout to final sign off and Launch. Vehicle Launch and or Build support. Field Issues Management. Driving License. Degree or HND equivalent.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in FMS (Field Management System) system.
