The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
Part of the Powertrain Project Management team delivering all Powertrain program actions into production on time having successfully met all performance, durability, attribute and cost targets.
Key responsibilities will include: management of team members and functional representatives, facilitation of issue resolution, component & system design releases, cost, weight and assumption management, advising line management of deviations to the plan and driving solutions and corrective actions.
The role will require the successful applicant to ensure that all Powertrain elements of the program are delivered on time and with quality.

Skills Required:
- Automotive related programme/project management
- Computer literate in Google, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project.
- Valid UK driving licence
- Ability to interface directly to the vehicle programme teams and represent the Powertrain Department
- Flexible, adaptable and excellent communicator
- Written / Oral

Skills Preferred:
- Knowledge of powertrain systems, technologies, design, etc.
- Knowledge of powertrain programme management processes
- Working knowledge of project delivery & change management processes including GPDS, AIMS, WERS and eFDVS. - Knowledge of relevant quality tools ie FMEA, 8D etc

Experience Required:
- Automotive programme/project management
Experience Preferred:
- Process knowledge ideally gained in Product Development environment.
- Powertrain programme/project management
- Powertrain design/development

Education Required:
It is anticipated that applicants will be educated to a degree level in an engineering or automotive discipline. However candidates with significant Powertrain experience will also be considered.
