The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
- The TSB Project Lead engineer is responsible for delivery of the project & associated TSB process activities. They will be the key interface between the management, technical specialist and hardware owners within JLR and key project contacts within partner organisations. The TSB Project Lead engineer will be responsible for development and delivery of detailed plans to support project completion as well as completing required TSB reporting metrics (quarterly reports / financial submissions)

Skills Required:
- Self driven with a strong engineering background the TSB Project Lead engineer will have excellent team working skills and an understanding of project management tools. ¿ Working knowledge of Diesel and / or Gasoline engine / powertrain systems, engine, controls, facility, instrumentation and test procedures. "

Skills Preferred:
- Working knowledge of development processes / principles (JLR GTDS/PCS and/or Ford GPDS) ¿ Good PC skills ¿ Excel, Word and Project ¿ Disciplined approach to planning, prioritisation and evidence generation ¿ Must have driving licence valid for use in the UK "

Experience Required:
- Previous experience of Engine and Powertrain systems are required. ¿ Demonstrate the ability to lead the resolution of technical, business and process issues within a team environment. Good communication, interpersonal skills and self confidence are personal qualities needed to succeed, being self motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision "

Experience Preferred:
- A knowledge of vehicle systems would be beneficial

Education Required:
- Educated to degree level in a suitable engineering discipline, or suitable previous experience

Additional Information :
- Primarily based at Whitley but must be willing to travel to other JLR sites (Gaydon) / Facility, Project partners & service providers (Universities / Consultancies)
