The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Process Consultant with the following key responsibilities: Manage consultancy projects using formal project management techniques to ensure delivery on time. This will include complex cross functional situations. Facilitate the design of effective and efficient processes to the JLR standard format using lean principles. Facilitate the effective implementation and sustainment of change through the use of formal change management techniques. Provide a structured approach to solving business problems in order to develop more effective and efficient ways of working. Leadership of other Process Consultants and Graduates on specific projects as required. Predict benefits delivery and track against them to ensure that they are realised.

This is a Process Consultant role (also often defined as Business Improvement) and not a Project Engineer. Role will be based at Whitley with frequent attendance at Gaydon.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1)Pragmatic problem solver with strong analytical skills.
2)Consultancy skills: influence and persuasion, contracting, facilitation, communication.
3)Project Management.

Minimum of 5 years experience delivering business improvement. Proven leader/facilitator of cross functional improvement teams. Educated to degree level or equivalent. Able to demonstrate significant benefits delivery - financial, service and quality.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry. Recognised improvement qualification: e.g. lean competency, six sigma black belt. Experience of new product introduction.
