The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
This is a new team within PD Factory and the roles & responsibilities are evolving as the team is established. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the team objectives which are:
- PD Vision, & Benchmarking
- Identifying key efficiency indicators and targets and supporting investigations into improvement opportunities
- PD Operating Plans (Developing the PD Factory Operating Plan linked to Cycle Plan and Technology Plan)
- Managing the ongoing 5 Year PD Business Plan development and cascade
- Key Process Indicators (KPIs), War-Room metrics
- Business consultancy
- Leading and supporting special projects to drive improved PD effectiveness and efficiency
- Information Management
- Defining the strategy, engaging in toolset development and migration including websites, applications and access and permissions standards
- Separation legacy
- Managing access to Ford and Volvo parts through the ongoing supply agreements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Highly driven individual with proven project management, communication and leadership skills, able to create and lead a cross functional team to resolve cross-functional issues.
- Analytical skills
- Willing to interrogate and test data and draw conclusions that essential drive improvement actions
- Willingness to learn and take on projects in new fields of work
- Capable and confident in MS Office applications (Excel/PowerPoint) and a working knowledge of SharePoint would be advantageous
- Self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills, self-confidence and a passion for business excellence are personal qualities needed to succeed in this environment, as well as the ability to deliver with minimum supervision.
- Broad business and/or engineering experience and a keenness to apply that to helping PD evolve in order to meet the challenges ahead would be beneficial

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint prefrerred - site administration and workflow creation an advantage
- Business Imporvement, IT projects coordination and delivery an advantage
