The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The role takes responsibility for L462, the third programme derived from the transformational D7U platform utilising aluminium hybrid technology. The Project Team have the challenge of developing an all new replacement vehicles for the Company. The Programme Management Team is responsible for leading the co-located Project Team to develop, and deliver the L462 Core programmes, and subsequent Cycle Plan projects through PCS (formerly GPDS), to exacting Quality, Cost, Weight, and Time objectives. They are also responsible for delivering actions through VLBR to maintain and improve profitability and desirability of these products throughout the life cycle. This planned team expansion, post the successful on time completion of the phase, will help drive target compatibility during the vital run up to M1DJ.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment
- An understanding of Company Product Development processes and programme delivery principles are essential
- A good working knowledge of i3, Change Control, Product Definition and Change Management processes are desirable although training can be given where skills in certain areas may need bolstering
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, self-confidence and a 'passion for the product' are personal qualities needed to succeed in this high-pressure environment, being self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision
- Experience of project or supplier management, meeting demanding timescales, budget control and cost-effective delivery would be beneficial
- Previous experience within Project Management, Core Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Launch are considered desirable, with a good knowledge o
