The Company:

The Role:
• Work for an international Oil & Gas company on their CSG assets

As the Project Engineer - Provisional Sums, you will report to the Senior Project Engineer - Project Services (LNG Plant and Port) and be responsible and accountable for managing Provisional Sum/Reimbursable Scope and associated subcontractor variation orders.

Responsibilities:
• Review of Provisional Sum and Reimbursable variation scope changes.
• Develop and maintain an internal procedure and process for changes to Provisional Sum and Reimbursable scope.
• Manage Provisional Sum Variation Process via input from internal and external stakeholders and maintain an auditable tracking register.
• Attend weekly meetings with Contractor and Subcontractors to discuss subcontract variations.
• Verify Provisional Sum and Reimbursable scope entitlement for all subcontract variations.
• Review and verify Contractor invoices related to Provisional Sums and Reimbursable costs in accordance with the terms of the EPC Contract.
• Attend kick of meetings and Contractor and Subcontractor meetings, as required.
• Ensure notifications and instructions to Contractor and Subcontractor are given in writing and recorded in project letters and transmittals.
• Prepare as necessary reports and graphical presentations of status of changes for appropriate input to the Project Monthly Reports, and any ad hoc reports that may be called for from internal or external sources.
• Ensure that the Project Services requirements of the GLNG Plant and Port Project are adequately addressed particularly with regard to Provisional Sum scope.
• Work effectively with PMT Members, Project Staff, Contractors, Subcontractor, Site personnel and others to establish and maintain required working interfaces with technical groups during Project execution.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant mechanical, chemical or civil engineering discipline
• Demonstrated experience in project engineering position in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably on LNG Projects
• Substantial Project Management experience in large multibillion dollar construction projects

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Membership to a relevant engineering institution, or eligibility to apply
