The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
Main Responsibilities: Management of press tooling outsource work from current Sites into the supplier base. Responsible for delivery of robust exit PPAP from current In house manufacturing location. Development of Supplier quality systems and Full PSW delivery of product from new home location. Supporting Body Construction Team on day to day issues were required.

Skills Required:
Core Skills:
- Detailed Knowledge of press shop operations in Both Aluminium and Steel Detailed Knowledge of Assy process
- Jointing applications, carried out with Body construction application mainly in Body In White assy operations. Eg - Welding - Riveting - Bonding Core
- Technical requirements: Full Knowledge and Application of using and delivering Phased PPAP
- Able to demonstrate good use of Run at rate and Capacity Planning tools Good understanding of PFMEA and Control Plan development and Use Good Understanding of GDT and CAD Interpretation of Data.
- Good understanding of gauge R@R Knowledge of and ability to apply APQP would be an advantage
- Problem solving skills such as 8D- Ishekawa - SPC
- Additional skill Set: Ability to work and Plan day to day activities and workload with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work with X Functional teams MPL/ Purchase / PD / Plant support teams. Good reporting skills.
- Requirement to issue status reports on regular basis.

Experience Preferred:
HND, Degree or equivalent.
