The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
SWAT Quality Project Leader. Reporting to: Group Leader HPAS, Puncture Management and Quality and Quality Module Leader. Support and / or Key Interfaces: To provide engineering support to deliver Quality Improvement Projects. To lead specific suppliers in Quality Operating System reviews and drive their performance in Supplier Quality league table

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills;
- Engineering Design
- Good teamworking, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive ability to work with office IT applications and manage large numbers of records in different formats.
- An EU Driving Licence
- A knowledge of Problem Solving/Quality Techniques including: Problem Definition, Data Analysis via Pivot charts
8D, Six Sigma, FMEA, Forward Model FMA.

Experience working in Chassis Engineering for an OEM or Tier 1 Supplier.
- Experience of delivering engineering components.
- Experience in Steering Wheels and Tyres environment.
- Experiences of working with international suppliers via Webex and Teleconferencing.
- Electrical/System Engineering experience.
- AWS working knowledge/experience.
- Experience of Engineering Standards generation
Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent experience and have a working knowledge of engineering disciplines that will be recog

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of the product development processes (e.g. PCS) is a significant advantage.
Knowledge of WERS, eFDVS and Quality Tools (e.g. FMEA) is desirable.
Experience in Chassis is an advantage.
- 6 Sigma Green Belt trained
- Level 2 Driving Permit or greater.
- Chartered Engineer status
Catia V5 and Teamcentre within an automotive environment
Masters Degree in an Engineering Subject would be preferable
