The Company:
Client provides Project Management services to the engineering and construction industry primarily in the resource, infrastructure, land development and property development sectors. Our aim is to provide effective Project Management and Project Controls support to our customers saving considerable time and money and improving the efficiency and success of their projects.

The Role:
The Project Engineer/Quality Inspector reports to the Site Superintendent and works in close coordination with the Construction Supervisors. They are responsible for ensuring the quality of the works meets the requirements of the project specifications. They also ensure defects are properly recorded and progress of works are accurately tracked.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Requirements of the role include:
• Working with the contractors to coordinate all inspection activities in an efficient and effective manner
• Organising all specialist testing operation and ensure test results are properly analysed and onward communicated
• Ensure contractor’s quality plans are in place and meet project requirements
• Ensure Inspection & Test Plans are put in place by the contractors and meet project requirements
• Carry out scheduled site quality inspections and quality audits
The Successful Candidates will Possess:
• A minimum of 8 years experience in the construction industry
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar quality assurance role
• Strong knowledge of requirements for structural, mechanical and piping inspections including joint testing, weld testing and pressure testing
• Demonstrated ability in conducting quality inspections and audits
• Local Malaysians only
