The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Deliver the plans for Validation and End-user-acceptance-testing as set out by the team leader. Validation of new software releases and also review of modified software within change cycle of SDD; confirming that the software meets the requirement of Service Technology and drives Right First Time Repair. All activates are to be carried out during the development cycle of future software update for DVD and Patch content. Prepare and source, as required, the necessary tools and equipment to support the validation of the software release including physical vehicles, VSI components, as-built files, live session, and partII data sets. Prepare and setup the correct level SDD diagnostic equipment including the correct level/version of software required for testing. Complete and submit trackers for all Tests complete, along with feedback on improvements requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Submit/update reports to support the day to day tracking of activate status and release planning.
• Validation and End-User-Acceptance Testing of SDD software releases.
• Deliver to the plans and activity list from the team leader.
• Liaise with the wider Service Technology area to support validation of live cases, validation of manual workaround fixes, as requested by the team leader.
• Ad-hoc support of meeting requests to support the wider Service Technology and Technical Service team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
3 Key Skills:
1) Knowledge of vehicle architecture and CAN messaging
2) Experience of Validation and Test process and procedures
3) Experience of End-user acceptance testing or validation

Background in vehicle diagnostics or vehicle electric systems. Academic degree within the relevant area or the equivalent education and/or experience. Experience in handling complex situations at a technical level
