The Company:
Our client is an engineering and project services contractor servicing the Energy & Chemical and Mining & Mineral markets in Australia. They design, construct, commission and maintain leading-edge facilities for the world’s largest energy and resources companies and have an oustanding safety record within the market.

The Role:
A new opportunity has arisen for an experience Project Engineer based in Perth. Based in the Supply Chain Management directorate you will:

* Managing a portfolio of mini projects from conception, approvals and engineering through to execution stages
* Develop project schedules, costings, cost analysis and develop business cases
* Attend/facilitate meetings
* Carry out performance improvement, performance analysis, reporting etc
* Communicate effectively with all parties across the projects
* Ensure that project key deliverables are achieved to plan and on budget

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Engineering degree - ideally mechanical and/or structural discipline
* Circa 3-5 years engineering and/or project management experience within an Oil & gas environment
* Strong understanding of the basic organisational processes and structure of delivering an EPC project
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Very competent in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc
* Project co-ordination experience
* Understanding of the supply chain in regards to handling large equipment and implementing these onsite - scheduling and sizing issues

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Ideally some site experience within a project co-ordination role would be desirable
