The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Experienced Project engineer needed to work on SVO commodity delivery across car lines.

Typical commodities include Roof Carrying, Expedition Roof Racks, Treadplates, Front and Rear Protection, Bike Carriers, Interior carrying and cargo barriers.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* It is anticipated candidates will be educated to Degree Level, or HNC/ HND with significant experience.
* Minimum 3 years experience in the Automotive Industry in a product development and delivery capacity
* PMST/Engineering Delivery Experience for Plastic/Structural/Functional parts
* Automotive Engineering experience with an understanding of automotive product creation and delivery tools like GPDS/PCS/PCDS
* Experience of having launched products on at least 1 car programme, from initial concept through to final launch stages Supplier management
* Quality tools like FMEA and problem solving
* RFQ process, PDS creation
* Releasing and WERS Issue Management
* AIMS Requirement Management - eFDVS/RMDV
* Testing and Validation of plastic and structural components
* Good understanding of materials and manufacturing technology
* Software Skills - PC Literate, MS Office Proficiency, MS Project knowledge

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Ability to interrogate CAD in Vis Mockup or CATIA
