The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Electrical Engineering is responsible for the design and development of vehicle electrical systems. Within the Electrical department the programme team are responsible for representing all Electrical engineering functions to the Vehicle Engineering and Programme teams. The Electrical Programmes Engineer will be a member of the EE Project Leadership team. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the robust and timely delivery of all Electrical deliverables through Engineering sign-off at FEC and launch of a new product at J1.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure alignment between EE and programmes teams, other CoCs, other functions e.g. service, manufacturing, etc.
Ensure targets cascaded from the programme to EE are appropriate to required content and achievable - cost, investment, weight.
Ensure facilities/vehicles are available / allocated to allow completion of requested DVP work.
Co-ordinate BOM validation exercises.
Clarify requirements to succeed through clear interpretation of deliverables to Module Ldrs and PMSTs.
Support consistent Project Reviews and CPE/CFE reviews to a set format.
Weekly publication of programme status sheet, updates of Integrator and ESO as required.
Co-ordination and tracking of RMDV status for PEC / FEC reporting
Co-ordination and tracking of S, T and P releases Candidate will be required to fully support programme mtg cadence as required (PST, VIT, TPAT, R&O etc).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills, experience and qualifications required
Knowledge and understanding of PCS and EE PCS deliverables and framework
Ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment
Self motivated, enthusiastic, pro-active, demonstrates initiative, with ability to work with minimum supervision
Flexibility to work across other Company sites as required
Excellent communication skills, PC literate, especially MS office
Presentation skills
Full driving Licence
Experience in developing new processes and procedures to improve quality and delivery
Able to demonstrate good project management experience and a track record of successful project delivery
Educated to degree level

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems (desirable)
Experience in raising and using AIMS (desirable)
Experience in RMDV (desirable)
Ability to use VisMock Up (desirable)
