The Company:
World renowned operator involved in many of the most challenging exploration projects active at present.

The Role:
• Identification of potential installation methodologies and selection of the most appropriate solutions that satisfy Company practices.
• Definition of the installation methodology, including definition of marine fleet/equipment and schedules, to underpin the cost estimates and execution plans required for decision support packages.
• Risk assessment, development and implementation of mitigation plans.
• Initiate and develop work scopes for vessel capability and upgrade studies by 3rd party consultants.
• Develop technical input to Tender documents and perform bid evaluations.
• Ensure Company QHS&E Management Systems are implemented and complied with.
• Liaise with the Project Marine Warranty Survey contractor during the review and approval of methodologies and offshore installation procedures.
• Participate in HAZID and Readiness Reviews, as required
• Participate in risk & opportunity reviews throughout the project term.
• Act as Knowledge Base for the Marine Installation aspects of Major Projects M&SS.
• Performance management of installation Contractor engineering team engaged in development of optimum installation methodologies and procedures which comply with Company, Project, National and International specifications, codes and standards.
• Production of progress reports/scorecards to appraise Company Management of status and issues affecting the work, with recommendations for resolving the issues.
• Develop and define the transport and installation methodology to ensure the fixed platforms and subsea structures can be installed using the Caspian marine fleet, upgraded where necessary.
• Interface with the design teams and contribution to the design development of the Facilities to ensure that the designs maximise operational flexibility and minimise risk.
• Development of offshore installation techniques and procedures for subsea structures, barge launched jackets with piled foundations, float-over topsides, and module lifting taking into account the lessons learnt during the project.
• Provide technical support to the offshore Installation activities through the ‘Execute’ phase of the Project.
