The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Key Responsibilities The Vehicle Engineering Management - Cross Car Line Feature team are responsible for delivery of engineering and attribute sign off for PD. Key supporting activities include; Feature Statement of Intent (F-SOI) metrics, progress and approvals, Target setting and targets cascade, Target delivery and DVP management, Prototype property definition, allocation and administration, Cross functional issue resolution, Functional assessment drive planning, Vehicle preparation and drive participation ultimately leading to Final Engineering Sign off of XCL features. This will be achieved by the successful implementation and application of Systems Engineering Practices, of which the successful engineer will play a key part in the application

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
High levels of personal organisation and motivation are essential.
Frequent exposure in senior forums can be expected, including Tech Issues and Directors Forum.
Efficient team leading capabilities are also essential. It will be a requirement to organise and drive teams to resolve cross functional issues and negotiate potentially difficult trade offs.
An understanding of product delivery process is a requirement, including target setting and vehicle sign off processes.
The role demands a good vehicle level understanding of all vehicle systems and architecture.
A good knowledge of PCS is desirable.
Familiarity with key PD IT systems (Integrator, eFDVS, AIMS, GPIRS, WERS) will be beneficial.
Applicants must be educated to degree level.
High drive, self motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision.
Candidates must be committed, flexible and able to work under pressure.
