The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
CFD analysis of early design surfaces/geometry; optimising for the aeroacoustic attribute
Liaise closely with Aerodynamics, Design and a wide range of component engineers
Assessment (road, track, wind tunnel) of competitor vehicles to develop targets for future models
Represent Aeroacoustics in programme/design forums to drive content in to future models
Test and develop dedicated uncamouflaged VP vehicles on track and at the AWT in Germany
Involvement in plant launch of vehicles from TT build to J#1 and handover to PVT teams
Support of computational and physical research projects and deployment of new technologies and processes within the team

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
CAE tools, ideally CFD (specific software training will be provided as required)
Excellent team working skills and adaptability
Good presentation skills
Full UK driving licence
Prepared to travel abroad to lead aeroacoustic wind tunnel testing.
Vehicle NVH/Acoustics
Applicants should be educated to degree level

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Wind tunnel test experience.
Body and Exterior Trim and Sealing Systems
JLR driving permit (level 3+), training will be provided as required
PCS (Product Creation System)
