The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The PAT (Programme Attribute Team) Leader within the Vehicle Dynamics Advanced Product Creation team is responsible for delivering the Vehicle Dynamics attribute performance until project hand-over to the core delivery teams within Vehicle Dynamics.
The Vehicle Dynamics APC PAT Leader is responsible for:
Management of vehicle dynamics according to the APC standard deliverables.
Benchmarking competitor vehicles (supporting evaluation drives and arranging physical test).
Target setting for vehicle and system levels (including discussions with VET, programme and COC teams).
Managing CAE analysts workload.
Ensuring alignment between programme content and targets

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Good specific knowledge of vehicle dynamics theory and data analysis, plus how this relates to vehicle level behaviour.
Good programme management skills, proven by delivery of a complex project involving multiple systems, facilities & resources.
Strong leadership behaviours, particularly those relating to integrity and building relationships, to maintain an environment of close team working with Chassis Engineering, Programme and other Attribute teams.
Ability to present technical issues - excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Knowledge of CAE tools and objective methods employed in Vehicle Dynamics.
Previous experience in Vehicle Dynamics or Chassis Engineering.
Experience of solving complex technical issues using a structured approach and data-driven attitude.
Experience of vehicle dynamics subjective assessment.
Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering preferred but will accept other candidates providing they have the required ski
