The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Reporting to the PSi Project manager, this role is to contribute to the delivery of our client's Programme for Simulation Innovation (PSi) which is a five-year activity funded under the strategic partnership between EPSRC and our client. Responsible for providing day-to-day project support to the PSi programme and project management, the academic research Theme delivery teams and the our client's Theme Leads and Project Leads. Key point of contact and liaison between our client and the academic institutions involved in delivering the PSi theme work packages, adhering to the their Research project management methodology Supporting PSi project leads to maintain detailed project plans and tracking documents for programme gateways Provide logistic and coordination support for PSi project reviews and programme gateways.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Experienced project engineer with track record of supporting technical programmes, preferably from a joint academic/industry environment
* Exposure to automotive engineering design projects using a variety of CAE methods
* Strong planning and project management skills with ability to operate with minimum supervision

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Be self-motivated with strong communication and personal organisational skills
* MS office and confidant in the use of web based information tools (e.g. information portals)
* Appropriate engineering or related degree
