The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
HMI A&U user trial coordinator. Supports the HMI A&U Attribute teams for Jaguar and Landrover programs to evaluate Ergonomic issues during the Product Development process. Will be required to liaise with Engineering, Design and Prototyping teams to coordinate review of properties, vehicles and components. Will be responsible for coordinating and conducting user trials, gathering data and communicating back to team.
Additional Information :

This role is based at JLR Gaydon, but will also require frequent working at JLR Whitley.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to coordinate and conduct effective usability trials and analyse the results (knowledge/experience of design of experiments). Sound understanding of Ergonomic principles. Good project management and communication skills. Ability to produce documentation to a professional standard. Ability to work with cross functional teams within the business
Coordinating and conducting usability trials including data gathering and analysis. Identification and application of Ergonomic principles in usability trials (key issues, customer demographics)
Educated to degree level in a related discipline (Human Factors, Ergonomics and/or Engineering)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to manage multiple projects to short timescales. Knowledge of CAD (pref Catia) and prototyping processes
Familiarity with Premium automotive sector, products and features. Prototype development process.

Higher qualification (e.g. MSc in Human Factors)
