The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Reporting to Attribute TVM Leader, the successful candidate will provide Project Management/Scenario planning/engineering/admin support. The role will include the management of cost saving targets, administration of issues to support the cost saving targets across all the clients products. Responsibilities are as follows:- Idea generation Central point of contact for VE to TVM Provide support in development of high level financial metrics and financial scenario planning Project management of Attribute TVM opportunities Attribute TVM share point site. Data entry & maintenance of data. Prepare presentations for various management reviews Facilitate design idea generation events and generation of specific commodity cost gap analysis Develop detailed planning of Benchmarking, Value Stream Mapping, planning & special projects.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to work in a fast paced environment to key deadlines Proven project management skills - qualification in Project Management PRINCE2 or APM Association of Project Managers An awareness of benchmarking or idea generation activities Engineering /technical awareness A good knowledge of vehicle component design and/or manufacture A team player who can fit in and work closely within a small team A confident communicator with the ability to present at all levels within the organisation Demonstrate strong numerical,financial, analytical and problem solving skills A good level of data analysis and interpretation, fully computer literate including MS Excel, Word, Project, Powerpoint & sharepoint site) Good communication skills; both written & verbal Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues to leverage knowledge and experience. Prior experience of delivering cost cost reductions in an Engineering/Manufacturing environment. Preferably automotive experience
