The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Platform Architecture Module Leader in delivering the programme content, through attendance at critical programme meetings, input into programme reporting on behalf of the COC and gather data and metrics relevant to the allocated programme. Provide Support and guidance to the Lead Commodity Engineers to ensure all programme design solutions meet programme targets for cost, weight, time and quality.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Applicants should be educated to Degree level (relevant experience also considered). Good presentation skills to represent the SWaT group within the project/programme and senior review forums Proven project management skills. Self-motivated, able to achieve results with minimal supervision. Ability to lead a team of Commodity engineers to develop engineering solutions which meet programme targets. Good team working, organisation and communication skills, able to foster good working relationships with Commodity Engineers, Purchasing, AME, STA and the wider programme teams. Good PC skills, proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Development and delivery process used within the automotive industry Training for all internal systems will be provided Full driving licence. Applicants should be educated to Degree level (relevant experience also considered).

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Support an Architecture Module Team using/giving guidance on key JLR processes including WERS releasing, AIMs, PCS, & RMDV.
