The Company:
Our Client is one of the largest independent oil and gas exploration and production companies in Europe.

The Role:
Ensure the following are built into the execution of FEED contracts: consistency, integration, flexibility and robustness of the FEEDs with possible outcomes of subsurface and/or project schedule realisations
Communication to all stakeholders including preparation of reports as required
Co-ordinate interfaces between the contractor and Company discipline specialists to ensure integrated delivery
Lead the resolution of day to day issues associated with technical definition, interfaces, deliverables, cost, schedule
Identify critical issues and follow up corrective actions
Ensures "end to end" system integrity and facilities functionality
Ensures that all work within the area of responsibility is adequately documented and lessons learned from other projects are captured
Ensures development analogue documents are made available and effectively applied by benchmarking key parameters
Even though currently deemed not essential, there may be requirement for field visits occasionally

Concept Select Phase
Responsible for concept delivery including partner alignment and in line with the current appraisal program ensuring flexibility to change.
Concept Update contractor management (scope, CTR, cost, schedule, progress, deliverables quality, change, interface, contracts documents, close-out, etc)
Identify key project risks and issues, develop and implement mitigation plan
Custodian of FEED SoW for CPF competition, rest of facilities and iPMT
Reporting study progress and presentation to all stakeholders

FEED Contractor Selection
Selection of the contractor in line with the Contracting Strategy
Preparation of the full ITT packages (FEED and iPMT), working closely with the C&P department
Managing the whole tendering process including selection criteria, kick-off, bid clarifications and responses, review and scoring of bids, recommendation to award and follow up on approvals.
Responsible for the FEED and iPMT Tender Evaluation Plan
Continuous progress update to senior management and provide resolution to key issues

Transition from Select to Define Phase
Finalise the Scope of Work for FEED and associated CTRs
Ensure fit for purpose FEED organisational set-up with support from iPMT
Responsible for integration of Company and iPMT in managing FEED contractors
Leading preparation of the decision support package required for the Select-Define gate
Working closely with C&P/iPMT to streamlined processes are applied for effective management of the FEED (Change, quality, interface, progress, information system, risks, multi- location offices, mobilisation plan)
Stakeholder management to seek approval to execute FEED

Define (FEED) Phase leading to FID
Responsible for Cost, Schedule & Quality Management
Keep stakeholders engaged with effective project reporting
Custodian of risk and opportunities register
Actively promote Value Engineering initiatives
Fit for Purpose Design including application of appropriate application of Codes and Standards
Co-ordinate and lead peer review, audits, assurances
Ensure compliance with Delivery Model
Ensure quality deliverables by having project audits
Manage scope and resources to support FID

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Track record of FEED delivery to FID and sufficient execution experience to enable successful FEED delivery
Operator experience
Motivated self-starter with hands on approach to delivery
Experience in large scale onshore oil development with complex and multidimensional challenges to resolve (waxy crude, large well-count, high water-cut, remote location, environmental & social constraints, etc) with low cost mindset
Proven track record of managing external contractor management
Conversant with subsurface and well engineering designs to be able to communicate and integrate technical issues
Command of cost/value drivers relating to fast track development, construction strategies, alternative project contracting and execution strategies, reservoir management and well engineering/drilling.
Demonstrable specific experience in Owner/Operator of e.g.:
Track record of interfacing and co-ordination capability
Well developed Management of Change skills working closely with the subsu
